Joanne Park
Clinical Research Coordinator
Joanne is a recent graduate of the Kinesiology program at the University of British Columbia. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she remained committed to serving her community through research, sport, and academic initiatives.
Over the past five years, Joanne has supported individuals with neurological conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis in the Acute Neurology Unit and Intensive Care Unit at her local hospital. She has also held several research assistant positions contributing to clinical research studies on concussion, mental health, and diabetes in the pediatric and youth population.
Her experiences supporting a range of research projects at BC Children's Hospital and the University of British Columbia strengthened her interest in healthcare and clinical research. Through these roles, she developed a strong interest in how research can improve health outcomes and advance evidence-based practice. She is excited to contribute to the research team at Neuromotion and collaborate with clinicians and clients to help translate research into meaningful clinical impact.
Outside of the clinic, Joanne enjoys coaching gymnastics, running, and crocheting handmade gifts for her friends and family!
