Nicole graduated from UBC in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. First practicing in Vancouver, specializing in swallowing difficulties and acute care OT. In 2008 Nicole moved to Victoria and has worked for Island Health in both Hospital acute care and Community Services. In the past 15 years Nicole has gained significant experience in Orthopaedics, Neurology, Geriatrics, Mental Health and Physical Medicine. In the community Nicole has been a part of a specialized team for discharge planning and care coordination. Nicole appreciates the importance of connection with her clients and has a passion for maintaining clients independence, dignity and choices to age in place.
In her time away from work Nicole loves spending time with her family, kayaking, going to their cabin and playing with her backyard chickens.
