Leadership Focus 

  • Managing a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Kinesiologists, Rehabilitation Assistants to deliver the best rehabilitation to clients with neurological injuries and conditions. 
  • Ensuring excellent verbal and written communication  
  • Leading by example 
  • Working collaboratively with the Clinic Manager to ensure the clinic is meeting its financial obligations 
  • Providing a calm and sympathetic demeanor in difficult situations. 
  • Participating in clinic initiatives, social media and community awareness 
  • Communicating regularly with the Director of Clinical Operations 
  • Assisting with the organization of team meetings 
  • Optimizing clinicians schedules and utilization 
  • Writing and sharing annual clinician reviews 
  • Connecting with community partners and growing collaborations 
  • Organizing other tasks as needed   

Clinician Focus 

  • Conducting clinical initial assessments, consultation, and in-home rehabilitation 
  • Encouraging clients with positive reinforcement to reach their goals 
  • Working with client populations with a variety of neurological conditions, including spinal cord injury, concussion, moderate to severe brain injury, vestibular conditions, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and stroke. 
  • Communicating with the team members, clients, employers, referral sources, family members, caregivers, and other counsellors.  Selecting and measuring appropriate qualitative and quantitative outcome measures  
  • Creating, Building, and Maintaining effective connections with your clients and team members 
  • Optimizing and maximizing your daily schedule 

Clinician Experience 

  • Masters in Physiotherapy  
  • Professional registration with the applicable college or association 
  • 3-5 years of Professional experience as a physiotherapist in a leadership position is an asset 
  • Ability to communicate using different styles, out of the box thinking, and methods to suit individual clients and situations
