Master of Speech Language Pathology
Lindsey provides services for people with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing needs. She sees her clients in the Neuromotion clinic, over the phone or telehealth, in a suitable community setting or within a client's home. She is deeply passionate about neurological rehabilitation and has had the privilege of practicing in this area for 22 years.
Lindsey graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from San Jose State University before completing her Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Alberta in 2000.
Lindsey has worked across the continuum of rehabilitation care including acute care and inpatient rehabilitation at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary followed by outpatient clinics in Calgary and Victoria. While Lindsey spends most of her time working with people with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, brain tumors, Parkinson's disease and Post Concussion Syndrome, she's experienced with a myriad of neurological diagnoses.
Lindsey believes the most effective way for her clients to achieve their goals is by delivering effective, research-based therapy techniques in a fun and welcoming client-centered environment.
Lindsey's other passions include teaching group fitness, and mountain biking, hiking and skiing with her husband and kiddos.
