Kalliopi earned her Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in biomedical science and psychology, at Brandon University in Brandon, Manitoba. During her time there, she worked as the student athletic therapist for the Men’s Basketball team for two years, sparking her interest for physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She then completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba in 2019.
During the physio program, Kalliopi found she had a special interest in neurology and followed that passion to British Columbia to specialize in neuro-rehabilitation. Kalliopi works with clients of all ages and uses evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment plans for each unique client. She loves to learn about each clients’ personal goals and tries to find fun and meaningful activities and treatments to help reach them. Kalliopi has additional training in pediatrics, Myndmove therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and post-concussion therapy. Kalliopi works in the clinic, does home visits, and practices Tele-Rehabilitaion.
Outside of work, you will find Kalliopi exploring Vancouver, watching hockey, or traveling the world, always stopping in Greece to visit family!
